First of all, as a Team Owner & Head Coach, I would like to congratulate The US Open promoters for a great event and experience this past weekend as it was the 2021 US Open. I am very proud of all Team DKS International members that competed this past weekend after all was our second tournament back since COVID-19 hit the world 🌎 and what amazing performance and skills. there is no greater feeling to know That, even though I wasn’t there with you guys but Sensei’s Juan Carlos Gonzalez and Francisco Rodriguez handled everything and coached you guys. that’s why I always say we are more than just a team we are a FAMILY! Amazing performances were shown and we brought home a grand total of 1 Grand Champion Heavy Weigth Overall 2 Runner up grands overall, 1 first place 30+ black belt team fighting, 1 third place 18 – 29 Black belt Team Fighting, 6 🥇first places, 4 🥈second places, 4 🥉 third places. Against all odds and adversities and the new world post pandemic situation that says a lot, everyone’s sacrifices, hours traveling, and a lot of hours of training really paid off in the end. Now is time to go to the lab and get to work, because we don’t take a loss as a loss but as a learned experience to fix our mistakes and get better.
